A typical classroom training for PRINCE2 Foundation Certification lasts for about two and a half days and examination takes place at the end of the training (can vary depending on the training provider). In PRINCE2 Foundation Certification the candidates are taught the 7 basic principles of the PRINCE2 methodology without which a Project Manager can not manage any project using PRINCE2 methodology. Candidates are also taught the 7 processes which include how to start a project, how to initiate it, controlling a project as well as closing a project.
