Eligibility/Prerequisites
The advanced certified scrum master course is suitable for scrum developers, managers, scrum masters, team managers who are shifting to the scrum, and even the scrum professionals who wish to learn the techniques and principles of scrum masters.
Thus, to earn the advanced CSM certificate, the individual must need to have some certifications from the scrum alliance, which are as follows:
- The individual who wants to have the advanced certificate must hold the certified scrum master certificate from the scrum alliance or registered organization.
- The individual must attend the certified A-CSM educational offer to improve the skills and gain new techniques beyond the scrum alliance's basics and mechanisms, facilitation, expanding into the interaction, and team dynamics.
- This may further include the post-course work or the pre-course work deemed necessary by your approved educator to complete the learning objectives.
- The individual needs to accept an advanced certified CSM license agreement and also needs to complete the scrum alliance membership profile.
- The individual needs to have a minimum of 12 months' work experience that specifies the role of the scrum master.
- Besides all this, the individual needs to maintain the advanced CSM certificate by earning the scrum education units and renewing the certificate after every twenty-four months.
