Professional Agile Leadership, or PAL I, is a certification that validates candidates as leaders in Agile practices and leadership skills. The PAL I exam is conducted and recognized by Scrum.org. The exam is considered challenging as it presents scenarios faced by experienced Agile practitioners, which is why it is most often taken by leaders in Agile: professionals who have experience implementing Agile methodologies, working with and leading Agile teams, and coaching Agile. This is however not a requirement. Candidates who pass PAL I receive a certificate issued by Scrum.org and a badge that can be displayed. Here, we explain the prerequisites to attending and passing the PAL I certification training and exam.
